Working with the Senior Front Reception Team, it will be your responsibility to run the daily operation of reception and reservations for Twr y Felin, Roch Castle and Penrhiw Priory from the central location of Twr y Felin Hotel. Duties include supporting all departments throughout Twr y Felin Hotel and assist the teams at Roch Castle and Penrhiw Prior when required. You will need to adhere to effective reservations/reception systems. You will be expected to have a close seamless working relationship with the Housekeeping Team and Maintenance Team ensuring that their lists to carry out their work are accurate and up to date. Most importantly you need to provide a smooth delivery of service and guest satisfaction, whenever possible anticipate guests’ needs, be aware of all written and spoken requests and carry out these requests in a courteous and helpful manner.

Working with the Food and Beverage Manager and Kitchen Brigade it will be your responsibility to assist with the daily operation of the restaurant and bar areas for Twr y Felin Hotel and to provide support to our sister hotels Roch Castle and Penrhiw Priory as and when required. Duties will include, to anticipate guests’ needs, wherever possible, in order to deliver exceptional quality of service and, in turn, guest satisfaction, explain the menus and specials to suit the individual tastes of the guests. You should be able to describe and upsell products to the guests, take orders accurately and post the orders accurately in a time efficient manner and be able to maintain and deliver consistent company standards.

We are looking for experienced Chefs to join the team as a Chef de Partie, mainly based in Twr y Felin Hotel, although there may be occasions when you need to support at our sister properties. Your duties will be to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen. To implement, train and maintain the standards set with the guidance of the Head and Sous Chef. To ensure that all food is prepared, stored and disposed of to the standard required. To control stock levels, and ensure that all food to is used appropriately at all times. You will be expected to help support and develop the team and to help with the development of the menu and suggest dishes You should be able to liaise and communicate with other departments within the hotel to ensure that the guest’s comfort and wellbeing is ensured.

We are recruiting Housekeeping Assistants based mainly at Twr y Felin Hotel, however you will be expected to assist in Penrhiw Priory and Roch Castle when required. Duties include to clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas and back of house areas to the company standards. You will need to ensure all public areas are clean and welcoming to guests at all times and to fulfil all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety. You will need to work at an efficient pace to ensure guest rooms are completed prior to their arrival. And communicate with the relevant Line Manager rooms have been completed.

As Breakfast Chef at Twr y Felin Hotel, it will be your responsibility to attend to our guests for their breakfast needs.

Duties include:

  • Prepare and serve breakfast to company standards.
  • Check food stocks on a regular basis and order the appropriate food stocks to match business needs in a timely manner to reduce food waste and minimize out of date stock.
  • Liaise with colleagues regarding guest dietary requirements and special requests.
  • Ensure all areas are cleaned with the correct cleaning product in a safe working environment.
  • Be able to work unsupervised in a busy environment.

 

We are recruiting for 2 Commis Chefs to join our busy kitchen in Twr y Felin's 2 Rosette Blas Restaurant, in St Davids.

  • To support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen.
  • To implement, train and maintain the standards set with the guidance of the Head and Sous Chef.
  • To assist in the smooth and effective running of the kitchen department.
  • To ensure that all food is prepared, stored and disposed of to the standard required.
  • To help with the development of the menu and suggest dishes

  • Ordering and receiving of food goods, in accordance with monthly budgets to include the control of stock, and Health and Safety compliance.

We are expanding the Housekeeping Team at Twr y Felin and are looking for a FULL TIME Assistant Head Housekeeper to join the team.

Working alongside the Head Housekeeper your duties will include:

  • Successfully supervise a team of Housekeepers at Penrhiw Priory/Roch Castle.
  • Work closely with Managers at Twr y Felin, Roch Castle and Penrhiw Priory to ensure that the company standards are the same level throughout all venues.
  • Conduct daily briefings to the housekeeping team in the absence of the Manager.
  • Create daily checklists for the housekeeping team and routinely check their completion.
  • Check completed bedrooms with an eye for detail, ensuring they are cleaned to the company standards.
  • Check public areas, corridors and stairways to ensure they are clean and welcoming to guests at all times.
  • Implement, train and maintain company standards throughout the housekeeping team.
  • Ensure the housekeeping department is staffed to maximize efficiency.
  • Control laundry stock levels, and ensure that all laundry is used appropriately at all times.
  • Liaise and communicate with other departments within the hotel to ensure that the guest’s comfort and wellbeing is ensured.
  • Fulfill all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety.
  • Work at an efficient pace to ensure guest rooms are completed prior to their arrival

You will be required to work 5 days out of 7 including most weekends and bank holidays.

  • The flexibility to work 5 day out of 7, covering the dinner shift
